About the role
We build and run websites for healthcare clients as well as our own. Real PHP, real JavaScript, no page builders. Everything you ship gets judged on speed and conversion, and you will see the data for both.
What you will actually do
- Build client sites and landing pages in PHP and vanilla JavaScript
- Get Core Web Vitals green on mid-range Android over 4G
- Build booking flows, forms and API integrations
- Implement tracking correctly so it survives your own deploys
- Maintain and fix inherited sites, often badly built
- Handle hosting, deployment and the occasional 2am outage
What we need from you
- 3+ years shipping production PHP and JavaScript
- You write vanilla JS comfortably, not only framework code
- Real performance skill: you can take a 4 second LCP to under 2.5
- Server literacy: Apache or LiteSpeed, htaccess, caching, SSL
- You can pick up someone else's messy codebase without rewriting it all
Nice to have
- REST API integration work
- Arabic RTL implementation
- Schema and technical SEO
- Basic design sense so builds do not need a designer for everything
