About the role
This is the pure edit role, separate from the videographer. Footage arrives from shoots and from clients, and you turn it into ads, Reels and cut-downs. The volume is real: expect to be delivering multiple edits a day rather than one film a week.
What you will actually do
- Cut vertical ads and Reels optimised for the first two seconds
- Produce multiple aspect ratios and lengths from one source
- Caption and subtitle in English and Arabic
- Basic colour and audio clean-up
- Iterate fast on the versions that are winning
- Keep a clean, findable project and asset structure
What we need from you
- 2+ years editing short-form with a reel of actual social work
- Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, fast
- You understand that the first second decides everything
- Genuinely fast turnaround without losing quality
- Comfortable being told a cut did not perform and recutting it
Nice to have
- After Effects and motion graphics
- CapCut for speed work
- Arabic subtitling
- Sound design
