A Dubai aesthetic clinic owner asked me last month if AED 180 was a good CPL for hydrafacial. The honest answer was: probably yes, but the question was wrong. CPL without context means nothing. Here are the real ranges across 20+ Dubai aesthetic clinics we run.
CPL by treatment, Dubai 2026
- Hydrafacial: AED 80 to 250
- Botox: AED 90 to 220
- Dermal fillers: AED 110 to 280
- Laser hair reduction: AED 30 to 90
- Mesotherapy: AED 120 to 260
- PRP: AED 150 to 320
- Body contouring (non-surgical): AED 180 to 400
- Plastic surgery consultation: AED 350 to 800
- Hydrafacial in Marina/Downtown: AED 150 to 280 (premium auction)
- Hydrafacial in JVC/Sports City: AED 60 to 140 (less competitive)
Why the range is so wide
CPL depends on five variables, not one:
- Area. Marina/Downtown auctions cost 2x JVC for the same treatment.
- Brand strength. A 5-year-old clinic with reviews pays half the CPL of a new clinic.
- Quality of landing page. Better page = lower CPL even with same bid.
- Definition of "lead". WhatsApp click vs form fill vs qualified inquiry give wildly different numbers.
- Season. CPL drops in October-November, rises June-August.
The right benchmark question
Instead of "is AED 180 a good CPL?", ask:
- What is my cost per booked patient (not per lead)?
- What is the lifetime value of the average patient for this treatment?
- Is the ratio of LTV to cost per booked patient at least 4 to 1?
If yes, the CPL is fine regardless of what it is. If no, no CPL is low enough.
The CPL trap
Some Dubai clinics push CPL down at the cost of lead quality. They tighten targeting, add restrictive form fields, raise the "must be in this area" filters. CPL drops. Booked patients drop further.
We have seen clinics cut CPL from AED 180 to AED 110 and watch their cost per booked patient go from AED 480 to AED 720. The dashboard improved. The bank account did not.
What to do with this
If your treatment-level CPL is inside our range, leave it alone. Focus on improving close rate. If it is outside, the issue is usually one of:
- The campaign is running on broader keywords than the listed treatment.
- The landing page does not match the ad headline.
- The bidding strategy is wrong for the campaign's data volume.
- The auction has shifted (a new competitor entered, your bid did not adjust).
The point
CPL ranges for Dubai aesthetic clinics are wide and depend on area, season and definition. Use these numbers as orientation, not targets. The metric that actually matters is cost per booked patient relative to lifetime value. CPL is a vanity midpoint between the two.
